Description
At the end of my second year of MMI, we had to create a website for a fictional art exhibition. We chose to focus on the Impressionist movement because we found it very interesting and thought it would fit well with the concept of the site we had in mind. For this project, I was the interactive developer. My task was to create an augmented reality feature directly accessible from the website! To do this, I used Blender to create a custom scene that I imported as GLTF using the ThreeJS library, allowing me to manage the 3D environment in the browser, and I used WebXR to implement this famous augmented reality feature.
My work
Interactive Developer
As part of a second-year web project in my BUT MMI program, we had to create a booking website for a fictional interactive exhibition; in addition to this website, we were required to create an interactive experience (e.g., a small quiz-style game, AR, VR, etc.); I was responsible for developing this experience and integrating it directly into the website, using ThreeJS, a JavaScript library for browser-based 3D, as well as a library called WebXR, which enables augmented or virtual reality directly from a web browser.
